Mull Accommodation: FAQs
Yes, like many of the Hebridean Isles, Mull has plenty of accommodation options, including hotels, B&Bs, holiday cottages, hostels, and more.
Because Mull is an island, it doesn’t take too long to explore, so anywhere between a weekend and a week-long vacation is enough time to experience the best of the isle.
Mull has a strong connection to Christianity, and the most notable part of the island’s history is undoubtedly it being the place where St. Columba established a missionary in 563 AD.
As well as this, Mull is also a royal burial ground, with approximately 48 graves belonging to Scottish kings adorning the island.
The word ‘mull’ refers to the top/summit/peak of something, and is a common name for many of the country’s mountainous areas.
